Holidays to Dubai

Dubai is a very glitzy place and is made for luxury holidays. Whether you are drinking tea in the desert, eating in lavish gold-decorated michelin star restaurants or shopping for the latest trend setters in the many malls, it is a place to see and be seen.

What Can I Do There?

It is definitely worth taking the time to visit some of Dubai's iconic attractions such as the Burj Al Khalifa, where at 124 floors high on a clear day you can see all the way to Abu Dhabi or the fountains which rise and fall to iconic soundtracks by the Burj Khalifa Lake. The Dubai Mall hosts a number of high-end shops and also a full aquarium in its centre, with a giant 11m tall fish tank built into the wall. 

Families are well catered for in Dubai with an excellent choice of facilities. The world-famous Aquaventure Waterpark (in the grounds of the Atlantis Palm) will see you shoot 60 foot through a huge perspex tube into a lagoon full of sharks! Other options include Dubai Parks with over 100 rides and attractions, Wild Wadi Waterpark and indoor skiing at the Mall of Emirates.

Where Should I Stay?

There are so many ultra-luxury resorts here it is difficult to choose which one to pick but they never fail to impress. The iconic Burj Al Arab, which stands at 1000 feet high, the wave-shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel or the stunning Atlantis Palm on the Palm Jumeirah all stand as testament to this. It is important to note that you can do Dubai without a colossal budget. Flights aren't astronomical and you can find very nice accommodation without the large price tag.

How Do I Get There?

You can fly to Dubai directly from Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, London City, London Gatwick, London Stansted and London Heathrow. The flight out is around 7 hours and is 8 hours on the way back.
